Member Earl Rydberg introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 69 -120
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING SANITARY SEWER SERVICES LATERAL
EXTENSIONS, WATER MAIN SERVICES, AND STORM SEWER EXTENSIONS
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -72, AND ORDERING PREPARATION
OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
WHEREAS, the City Council has established Street Surfacing
Improvement Project No. 1969 -67 for 73rd Avenue North from Lyndale
Avenue to Humboldt Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center is in the process of
negotiating an agreement with the Village of Brooklyn Park for effect-
ing the construction of necessary sanitary sewer services and lateral,
water main services, storm sewer, and street grading and surfacing on
73rd Avenue North from Lyndale Avenue to Humboldt Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to initiate said
Sanitary Sewer Services Lateral Extensions, Water Main Services,
and Storm Sewer Extensions Improvement Project No. 1969 -72, so as to
minimize future cutting of the roadway surface.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center to direct the City Engineer to prepare plans and
specifications for said improvement project, described as follows:
1969 -72 Sanitary Sewer Services Lateral Extensions,
Water Main Services, and Storm Sewer Extensions
73rd Avenue North from Lyndale Avenue to Humboldt Avenue.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
