Member John Leary introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 69 -121
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
NO. 1969 -73 AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS
WHEREAS, a petition has been presented to the City Council
requesting Water Main Improvement Project No. 1969 -73, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to initiate
Water Main Improvement Project No. 1969 -73.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center to direct the City Engineer to prepare
plans and specifications for said improvement project, described
as follows:
1969 -73 Water Main
On easement overlying vacated James Avenue North from
69th Avenue to the south line of Outlots A 6 B of Twin
Cities Interchange'Park; and on easement from a point
on vacated James Avenue North lying approximately
823 feet south of County Road 130 centerline westerly
to the west line of said Outlot B.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
