Member Earl Rydberg introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 69 -123
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SANITARY
SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -33, GRADING, BASE 8 SURFAC-
ING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -34, CURB 8 GUTTER IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 1969 -35 AND STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT N0,
1969 -58
WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed improvements
consisting of the following:

1969 -33 Sanitary sewer in Northway Drive (West of
Xerxes Avenue) from County Road 10 to Xerxes
Avenue; and on easement overlying the extension
of Zenith Avenue from Northway Drive to approx-
imately 155 feet south of 59th Avenue North. $13,348.00
1969 -34 Grading, base and surfacing on Northway Drive
(West of Xerxes) from County Road 10 to Xerxes
Avenue. $13,949.00
1969 -35 Curb and gutter on Northway Drive (West of
Xerxes) from County Road 10 to Xerxes Avenue. $5,520.00
1969 -58 Storm sewer in Northway Drive (West of Xerxes)
from County Road 10 to Xerxes Avenue. $5,205.00
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report ad-
vising that said proposed improvements are feasible and that they
can be constructed at estimated costs as indicated above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by
Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes,
2. A public hearing on the proposed improvements shall be
held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 21st day of April,
1969, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., central standard time,
and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing
by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City.

3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements
is as follows:
ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED STREETS
AND /OR TO BE BENEFITTED BY THE IMPROVEMENTS.
4. These proposed improvements shall be designated Sanitary
Sewer Improvement Project No. 1969 -33, Grading, Base 6 Surfacing
Improvement Project No. 1969 -34 Curb 8 Gutter Improvement Project
No. 1969 -35, and Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1969 -58.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member john Leary and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof Philip Cohen,
John Leary, Earl Rydberg Howard Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
