Member john Leary introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0.69 -124
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED
SANITARY SEWER INTERCEPTOR, FORCE MAIN 8 SEWAGE LIFT
STATION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -36
WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improve-
ment consisting of the following:

1969 -36 Sanitary sewer interceptor, force main and sewage
lift station in Shingle Creek Parkway from County
Road 10 to I.H. 94; on easement from intersection
of County Road 10 and Shingle Creek Parkway south-
westerly approximately 770 feet; Lushine Drive
from Shingle Creek Parkway to T.H. 100; Sheehan Road
from Shingle Creek Parkway to T.H. 100; and on ease-
ment adjacent to the north right -of -way of County
Road 10 from Shingle Creek Parkway to approximately
550 feet east of Shingle Creek Parkway. $221,702.00
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report ad-
vising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be
constructed at an estimated cost as indicated above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota as follows:
1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted
by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes.
2. A public hearing on the proposed improvements shall be
held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 21st day of April,
1969, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., central standard time, and the Clerk
shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks'
publication in the official newspaper of the City.
3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement
is as follows:
All that property in Section 2, T. 118 R. 21, and
Section 35, T. 119, R. 21, lying northwesterly of
T.H. 100 southerly of I.H. 94, and easterly of
Shingle Creek, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Sanitary
Sewer Interceptor, Force Main Sewage Lift Sta 'on Impr vement
Project No. 1969 -36.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Theodore Willardand upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary,
Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
