Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 69 -125
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED STREET
GRADING, BASE 6 SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -37
AND CURB 6 GUTTER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -38
WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed improvements
consisting of the following:

1969 -37 Street grading, base and surfacing on
Shingle Creek Parkway from County Road 10
(MSAP 09- 109 -01 to I.H. 94. $530,674.00
6 09- 109 -03)
1969 -38 Curb and gutter on Shingle Creek Parkway
(MSAP 09- 109 -03) from County Road 10 to I. H. 94. $54,330.00
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report ad-
vising that said proposed improvements are feasible and that they
can be constructed at estimated costs as indicated above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by
Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes,
2. A public hearing on the proposed improvements shall be
held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 21st day of April
1969, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., central standard time,
and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing
by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City.

3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements
is as follows:
ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED STREETS
AND /OR TO BE BENEFITTED BY THE IMPROVEMENTS.
4. These proposed improvements shall be designated Street
Grading, Base Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -37 and
Curb 6 Gutter Improvement Project No. 1969 -38.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
