HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-130 CCR 24 5 Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -130 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED STREET GRADING, BASE 6 SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -46 AND CURB 6 GUTTER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -47 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed improvements consisting of the following: 1969 -46 Street grading, base and surfacing on 67th Avenue North from approximately 135 feet west of Bryant Avenue to Lyndale Avenue. 1969 -47 Curb and gutter on 67th Avenue North from approxi- mately 135 feet west of Bryant Avenue to Lyndale Avenue. WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report ad- vising that said proposed improvements are feasible and that they can be constructed at estimated costs of $46,064.00 and $9,066.00, respectively. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvements shall be held at the City Hall in the city on Monday, the 21st day of April, 1969, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., central standard time, and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the city. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is as follows: ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED STREETS AND /OR TO BE BENEFITTED BY THE IMPROVEMENTS. 4. These proposed improvements shall be designated Street Grading, Base 6 Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -46 and Curb 6 Gutter Improvement Project No. 1969 -47. (M.S.A.P 09- 112 -02).
