Member John Leary introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 69 -133
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SANITARY
SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -54
WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improvement
consisting of the following:
1969 -54 Sanitary sewer in Shingle Creek Parkway from County
Road 130 to Xerxes Avenue North; Xerxes Avenue North from Shingle
Creek Parkway to I.H. 94; and on easement easterly from Xerxes
Avenue North for a distance of approximately 615 feet to existing
sanitary sewer manhole.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report advising
that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be con-
structed at an estimated cost of $29,310.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota as follows:
1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by
Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes.
2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held
at the City Hall in the city on Monday, the 21st day of April, 1969,
at 8:00 o'clock P.M., central standard time, and the Clerk shall
publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publi-
cation in the official newspaper of the city.
3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement consists
of all property located in the following described area:
OUTLOTS D E of the TWIN CITIES INTERCHANGE PARK, Hennepin
County, Minnesota;
and that part of Parcel No. 610, Section 34, T. 119 R. 21,
Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying south of County Road No. 130.
4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Sanitary Sewer
Improvement Project No. 1969 -54.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Howard Heck and.upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John
Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
