HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-134 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution I G5 and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -134 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -55 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improvement consisting of the following: 1969 -55 Storm sewer in Shingle Creek Parkway from County Road 130 to Xerxes Avenue North; Xerxes Avenue North from Shingle Creek Parkway to I.H. 94; on easement westerly for a distance of approximately 410 feet from a point on centerline Shingle Creek Parkway approximately 775 feet northwesterly of centerline Xerxes Avenue North; and on ease-. ment overlying the extension of Shingle Creek Parkway from Xerxes Avenue North to Shingle Creek. WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report advis- ing that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be con structed at an estimated cost of $36,066.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 429 Minnesota Statutes. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at the City Hall in the city on Monday, the 21st day of April, 1969, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., central standard time, and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the city. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement con- sists of all property located within the following described area: OUTLOT 'E and all those parts of OUTLOT D. TWIN CITIES INTER CHANGE PARK, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying northeasterly of Shingle Creek Parkway and westerly of Shingle Creek-, and that part of said OUTLOT D lying southwesterly of extended Shingle Creek Parkway and lying northwesterly of a line approximately 400 feet southeast of and parallel with the southeasterly right -of -way of Xerxes Avenue North; and that part of Parcel No. 610, Section 34, T. 119, R. 21 Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying south of County Road No. 130. 4. This proposed improvement shall be des' nated Stor Sewer Improvement Project No. 1969 -55. (M.S.A.P. 2 6 0 11 `04), March 24, 1969 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Rydberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
