Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 69 -136
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED
STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -62
WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improve-
ment consisting of the following: Estimated
Project No. Improvement Cost
1969 -62 Storm sewer on easement overlying the extension
of 70th Avenue North from Humboldt Avenue to
Irving Avenue. $5,486.00
WHEREAS, the City Engineer ineer has made a preliminary report ort ad-

vising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be
constructed at the estimated cost indicated above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota as follows:
1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by
Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes.
2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held
at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 21st day of April, 1969,
at 8:00 o'clock P.M., central standard time, and the Clerk shall pub-
lish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication
in the official newspaper of the City.
3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement con-
sists of all of the following described lots and parcels lying in the
southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 26, T. 119, R. 21,
Hennepin County, Minnesota:
Lots 1 to 7 inclusive, Block 1, Jessie's Addition;
Baerg Gardens;
Lots 1 to 4, inclusive, Block 3, George's Terrace 3rd Addition;
the east one -half of Lot 1, Block 3, George's Terrace 2nd Addition;
Lot 2 and Lot 3, Block 1, Gregor's Addition;
Lot 1, Block 1, Tisch's Addition;
Tract A, Registered Land Survey No. 1242;
the north 166 feet of Auditor's Parcels No. 3200, No. 3400, No. 3600,
and No. 6200 in Section 26, T. 119 R. 21; and
all that part of Lot 3, Block 1, Horbal Addition, lying northerly of
a line described as: Beginning in west line thereof, distant 250 feet
south from the northwest corner of said lot; thence east 130 feet;
thence north 70 feet; thence northeasterly to a point in the west
line thereof, distant 65 feet south from the northeast corner of said
lot.

4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Storm Sewer
Improvement Project No. 1969 -62.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary,
Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
