HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-140 CCR 2 Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -140 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -69 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improve- ment consisting of the following: Estimated Project No. Improvement Cost 1969 -69 Storm sewer on a line crossing Shingle Creek Park- way from the easterly right -of -way of Shingle Creek Parkway to Shingle Creek, at approximately 500 feet north of County Road 10. $55314.00 WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report ad- vising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be constructed at the estimated cost indicated above. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 21st day of April, 1969, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., central standard time, and the Clerk shall pub- lish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement con- sists of: All that property north of County Road 10 in the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter in Section 2, T. 118, R. 21 Hennepin County, Minnesota. 4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1969 -69. March 24, 1969 Date Mayor ATTEST: z Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
