HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-149 CCR 223 Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -149 RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTIONS NO. 69 -122 THROUGH 69 -142 ADOPTED MARCH 24 1969, PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS ON PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS WHEREAS, Resolutions No. 69 -122 through 69 -142 adopted March 24, 1969, provided for public hearings on proposed improvement projects, and WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of said resolutions, modifications in the scope of the improvement projects have made it necessary to change the date for public hearings on these proposed improvements, originally scheduled for April 21, 1969, to a later date. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota to amend so much of Resolutions No. 69 -122 through 69 -142 as pertains to the time and date of public hearing for these improvement projects to read as follows: "2. A public hearing on the proposed improvements shall be held at the City,Hall in the City on Monday, the 12th day of May, 1969, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., daylight savings time, and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publica- tion in the official newspaper of the City." April 7, 1969 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk' The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
