HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-163 CCR 213 Member Earl Rydberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -163 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PLANT -MIXED BITUMINOUS MATERIAL WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have reported that on April 15, 1969 at 10:00 A.M., they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of plant -mixed bituminous material and said bids were as follows 1500 Tons with coarse 1000 Tons with fine aggregate furnish and aggregate furnish 85 -100 Bidder load and load Penetration Total C.S. McCrossan, Inc. 4.50 4.50 NB 11,250.00 Bury Carlson, Inc. 5.25 5.75 5.25 32,000.00 Barton Contracting NB NB 3.75 13,125.00 Blacktop Service 5.25 5.25 5.25 31,500.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of C.S. McCrossan for the furnishing of Plant -Mixed Bituminous Material in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Barton Contracting Company for the furnishing of 85 -100 Penetration in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. s April 21, 1969 Date Mayor ATTEST: ✓LLGGr,�, Cie A The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
