HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-164 CCR 13 Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -164 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR CORRUGATED METAL PIPE WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have reported that on April 15, 1969, at 10:00 A.M., they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of corrugated metal pipe and that said bids were as follows: 15" 7 "Conn. 12" 7 "Conn. Bidder CMP Bands CMP Bands Total Armco Steel Corp. 3.03 3.03 2.55 2.55 11,718.00 Viking Steel 2.62 2.62 2.20 2.20 10,122.00 Johnston Culvert Co.2.56 2.56 2.15 2.15 9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Johnston Culvert Company for the furnishing of corrugated metal pipe in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. April 21, 1969 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
