The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the con
sideration of proposed Water Main Improvement Project No. 1969 -32.
The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of
hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication
thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being; on
May 8, 1969 which affidavit was examined and found satis-
factory and ordered placed on file.
The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to
present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement.
After hearing and considering all objections, and the property
owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Howard Heck
introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 110. 69 -200
RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 1969 -32
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary
and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property
specially benefitted thereby, that the following; improvement shall be
constructed:
Project No. 1969 -32 Water main on easement adjacent to the
north side of County Road 10 from T.H. 152 right -of -way to Xerxes Ave.,
and from Northway Drive (east of Xerxes Ave.) to approximately 550 feet
east of Shingle Creek; Shingle Creek Pkwy. from Co. Rd. 10 to I.H. 94;
on easement adjacent to the, southerly side of I.H. 94 to approximately
300 feet southeasterly of Shingle Creek Parkway to inplace water main
stub; on easement adjacent to the northerly side of I.H. 94 from inplace
water main stub to approximately 300 feet northwesterly; on easement
northeasterly from I.H. 94 to approximately 760 feet northeasterly of
the northerly right -of -way line of I.H. 94; Sheehan Road from Shingle
Creek Pkwy to T.H. 100; Lushine Drive from Shingle Creek Pkwy to approx-
imately 1 feet southeasterly of Shingle Creek Parkway; and in North
way Drive (west of Xerxes Ave.) from Xerxes Avenue to County Road 10.
The estimated cost is $252,586.00 b ed on contract bid
prices.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member EarlRydberg, and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
John Leary, Earl Rydberg and Howard Heck
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
