HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-210 CCR The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the con- sideration of proposed Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 1969 -41. The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on May 8, 1969 which affidavit was examined and found satin- factory and ordered placed on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -210 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -41 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and for the best interests of the City and the owners of propert specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed: Project No. 1969 -41 Sanitary sewer in 65th Avenue North from Humboldt Avenue to approximately 1,000 feet west of Humboldt Avenue; and on easement overlying the extension of 65th Avenue North northwesterly to proposed Shingle Creek Parkway. The estimated cost is $32,354.00, based on contract bid prices. c May 12, 1969 Date ?Mayor ATTEST: 01 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Rydberg, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
