HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-220 CCR The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the con- sideration of proposed Curb 8 Cutter Improvement Project No. 1969 -57, The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on May 8 1969, which affidavit was examined and found satis- factory and ordered placed on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -220 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF CURB 6 CUTTER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -57 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed: Project No. 1969 -57 Curb and gutter on Shingle Creek Parkway from Co. Rd. 130 to Xerxes Avenue North; and Xerxes Avenue North from Shingle Creek Parkway to I.H. 94. The estimated cost is $21,860.00. May 12, 1969 Date Mavor ATTEST: C er The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon .vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof Philip Cohen, Howard Heck, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
