sideration of proposed Water Main Improvement Project No. 1969 -73.
The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of
hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication
thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on
May 8, 1969 which affidavit was examined and found satis-
factory and ordered placed on file.
The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to
present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement.
After hearing and considering all objections, and the property
owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Earl Rydberg
introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 69 -223
RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF WATER MAIN
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -73
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary
and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property
specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be
constructed:
Project No. 1969 -73
Water main on easement overlying vacated James Avenue
North from 69th Avenue to the south line of Outlots
A 6 B of Twin Cities Interchange Park; and on easement
from a point on vacated James Avenue North lying
approximately 823 feet south of County Road 130 center-
line westerly to the west line of said Outlot B.
The estimated cost is $12,406.00, based on contract bid.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof Philip Cohen, Howard
Heck, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
