HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-224 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -224 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -74 WHEREAS, on April 2, 1969, the City of Brooklyn Center received a petition from all of the affected property owners for the installation of storm sewer on 69th Avenue North from Humboldt Avenue to approximately 400 feet west of Humboldt Avenue, and WHEREAS, Chapter 429.031, Subdivision 3 Laws of Minnesota, provides that: "Whenever all owners of real property abutting upon any street named as the location of any improvement shall petition the Council to construct the improvement and to assess the entire cost against their property, the Council may, without a public hearing, adopt a resolution determining such fact and ordering the improvement." NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, that it has been determined that a petition signed by all owners of real property to be benefitted by the in- stallation of said storm sewer on 69th Avenue North from Humboldt Avenue to approximately 400 feet west of Humboldt Avenue has been received. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in accordance with Chapter 429.031, Subdivision 3 Laws of Minnesota, the above described storm sewer improvement be herewith ordered and authorized. The estimated cost is $9,365.00 based on contract bid prices. May 12, 1969 Date flayor ATTEST: y� e The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
