HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-227 CCR Member Earl Rydberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -227 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM (CONTRACT 1969 -B GENERAL UTILITIES) WHEREAS, the City Clerk and the City Engineer have reported that on May 6, 1969, at 10:00 o'clock A.M., central daylight time, they opened and tabulated bids received for Contract 1969 -B, including Water Main Improvement Projects No. 1969 -2, 4 6 8, 10, 12, 14 18, 20, 22 24 26 28, 30, 60, 64 8 70; Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 1969 -61; Sanitary Sewer Services 8 Lateral Extensions, Water Main Services, 8 Storm Sewer Extensions Improvement Project No. 1969 -72; and Storm Sewer Improvement Projects No. 1969 -62 8 66; and that said bids were as follows: 1) Erwin Montgomery Construction Co. $309,133.50 2) Northdale Construction Co., Inc. $310,193.60 3) Phelps- Drake, Inc. 312,041.82 4) Nodland Associates, Inc. 337,752.00 5) McDonald Associates, Inc.----- $357,417.33 6) D. M. Noyes Construction Co. 362,261.70 7) Peter Lametti Construction Co. $406,602.17 8) Lametti 8 Sons, Inc. 442,603.50 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Erwin Montgomery Con struction Company in the amount of $309,133.50, as to furnishing of all work, labor, and material in connection with the above mentioned improvement projects included in Contract 1969 -B, according to the plans and specifications therefor now on file in the office of the City Clerk, is deemed to be the lowest and best bid submitted for said work by a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to authorize the Mayor and City Manager to execute a contract with said bidder.
