HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-026 CCR The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the consideration
of proposed Water Main Improvement Project No. 1969 -10.
The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing
on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication thereof in
the official newspaper, the last publication being on January 9, 1969,
which affidavit was examined and found satisfactory and ordered placed
on file.
The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present
arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing
and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in
favor of said improvement, member Theodore Wil'lc.rdintroduced the following
resolution 0 on and; moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 69 -26
RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF WATER MAIN
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -10
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center,
Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and for
the best interests of the City and the owners of property specially
benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed:
Project No. 1969 -10
Water main in Camden Avenue North from 57th Avenue to
59th Avenue; 58th Avenue North from Camden Avenue to
150 feet east of centerline Camden Avenue; 57th Avenue
North from''150feet west of centerline Aldrich Avenue to
30 feet east of centerline Camden Avenue; and Aldrich
Avenue North from 56th Avenue to 57th Avenue.
The estimated cost is $23,773,00

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Earl Rydberg and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary,
Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
