HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-027 CCR 6,9 The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the consideration of proposed Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -11. The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication thereof in the official news- paper, the last publication being on January 9, 1969, which affidavit was examined and found satisfactory and ordered placed on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -27 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF STREET SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROTECT NO. 1969 -11 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed: I Project No. 1969 -11 Street surfacing on Camden Avenue North from 57th Avenue to 59th Avenue; 58th Avenue North from approximately 135 feet west of Cemden Avenue to approximately 255 feet east of Camden Avenue; 7th e 5 Avenue North from approximately 13 pp Y 5 feet west of Aldrich Avenue to Camden Avenue; Aldrich Avenue North from 56th Avenue to 57th Avenue; and 56th Avenue North from Aldrich Avenue to approx- imately 136 feet east of Aldrich Avenue. The estimated cost is $21,455.00. Tanuary 13, 1969 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
