HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-037 CCR 237 Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -07 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR FRONT END LOADER WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have reported that on January 16, 1969, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., central standard time, they opened and tabulated bids received for a front end loader, and that said bids were as follows: (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) Ziegler, Hall Equip. Contract $1,250.00 1 5 1,250.00 1.00 5 Yr.Repurchase (Guaranteed Salvage Value) $18 1.00 14 16,204.00 120,000.00 Total Cost Evaluation $10 24,993.00 19,400.00 11,854.00 2 WHEREAS, the bid of Ziegler, Inc., complies with the specifica- tions and includes a 5 year maintenance bid and a guaranteed repurchase price, and WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has shown that the bid of Ziegler, Inc., represents the best bid submitted to the City of Brooklyn Center, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Ziegler, Inc., for a Caterpillar 950 rubber -tired front end loader with a 5 year maintenance contract and guaranteed repurchase provisions in the amounts of $27,850.00 for the machine, including repurchase provisions, and $250.00 per year additional for the 5 year maintenance contract, all in accordance with specifica- tions, is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted. 239 RESOLUTION NO. 69 -37 January 20, 1969'//f Date Mayor ATTEST: p erk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
