HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-040 CCR r 57 The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the consideration of proposed Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -19. The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on January 23, 1969, which affidavit was examined and found satisfactory and ordered placed on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Earl Rydberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -4Q_ RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF STREET SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -19. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that is is hereby determined that is is necessary and for the best interests ofthe_City and the owners of property specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed: Project No. 1969 -19 Street Surfacing on Fremont Avenue North from 55th Avenue to 59th Avenue; 56th Avenue North from Fremont Avenue to approximately 134 feet east; and 58th Avenue North from approximately 135 feet east of Fremont Avenue to approximately 135 feet west of Fremont Avenue. The estimated cost is $22,456.00. Tanuary 27, 1969 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution wa duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Howard Heck, Earl Rydberg, and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
