HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-049 CCR r p- 77 The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the consideration of proposed Water Main Improvement Project No. 1969 -64. The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on January 23, 1969, which affidavit was examined and found satisfactory and ordered placed on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement, After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member introduced P Howard Heck ntroduc the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -49 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -64 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed:. Protect No. 1969 -64 Water Main in France Avenue North from 61st Avenue to 62nd Avenue, and Janet Lane from June Avenue North to France Avenue North. The estimated cost is $17,549.00. Tanuary 27, 1969 Date ?Mayor ATTEST: EGG Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Howard Heck, Earl Rydberg, and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
