HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-065 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -65 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accordance with said contract: Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1968 -17 (Contract 1968 -E) NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $1,012.49 because the portions on 53rd Avenue North lying west of Dupont Avenue and East of Colfax Avenue were deleted, thereby reducing the total cost as shown above. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satisfied on said contract on September 9, 1968, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $5,057.30. January 27, 1969 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, ;Earl Rydbexg:, _Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
