HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-097 CCR 257 Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69-97 RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 68-286 ADOPTED DECEMBER 16 1968, PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969-2 AND PROPOSED STREET SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969-3 AND PROVIDING FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF UNASSESSED COST OF WATER IMPROVEMENT NO. 1960-1 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 68-286 adopted December 16, 1968 provided for a public hearing on Water Main Improvement Project No. 1969-2 and Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969-3, and WHEREAS, it is now deemed advisable to reschedule the public hearing on said improvement projects for a later date. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center Minnesota to amend so much of Resolution No. 68-286 as pertains to the time and place of said hearing., as set forth in Paragraph (2) of said Resolution No. 68-286, to read as follows: "2. A public hearing on the proposed improvements shall be held at the City Hall in the City on Monday the 10th day of March, 1969, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., central standard time, and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City." February 24, 1969 Date Mayor ATTEST Deputy Ile k The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard I and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
