HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-204 CCR1 1 Member john Leary and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, on April 14, 1967, the City of Brooklyn Center received a petition from all of the affected property owners for the installation of street surfacing on 69 -1/2 Avenue North from approximately 495 feet east of centerline Logan Avenue to approx- imately 735 feet east of centerline Logan Avenue, and WHEREAS, Chapter 429.031, Subdivision 3, Laws of Minnesota, provides that: "Whenever all owners of real property abutting upon any street named as the location of any improvement shall petition the council to construct the improvement and to assess the entire cost against their property, the council may, without a public hearing, adopt a resolution determining such fact and ordering the improvement." NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, that it has been determined that a petition of all the owners of the property on 69 -1/2 Avenue North from approx- imately 495 feet east of centerline Logan Avenue to approximately 735 feet east of centerline Logan Avenue for the installation of street surfacing has been received. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in accordance with Chapter 429.031, Subdivision 3, Laws of Minnesota, the above described street surfacing be herewith ordered and authorized. ATTEST: RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF STREET SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1968 -47 The estimated cost is $745.88. September 3, 1968 Cler introduced the following resolution RESOLUTION NO. 68 -204 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member EarlRydberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
