resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE BROOKLYN CENTER POST
FOR BOND ISSUE COVERAGE
WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center Post has published a series of articles,
comments and pictures regarding the Capital Improvements program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council feels that these publications were
extremely helpful in promoting understanding of the program and informing
the citizens of the program:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, to express appreciation to the
Brooklyn Center Post for its service to our community.

RESOLUTION NO, 68 -250
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg,
Howard Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon
said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
