HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-253 CCR1 1 Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 68 -253 RESOLUTION AMENDING POLICE DEPARTMENT COLLEGE EDUCATION INCENTIVE PROGRAM ESTABLISHED IN RESOLUTION NO, 67 -373 WHEREAS, on December 28, 1967, the Brooklyn Center City Council adopted Resolution No. 67 -373 establishing a Police Department College Education Incentive Program and prescribing a policy therefor: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota to amend Item No. 4 of Resolution No. 67 -373 to provide as follows: 4. Candidates for College Education Incentive compensation must have completed eighteen (18) months consecutive service with the Brooklyn Center Police Department. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said amendment and compensation resulting therefrom shall be effective January 1, 1969. November 25, 1968 ATTEST: Date 77 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
