HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-263 CCRMember Earl Rydberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 68 -263 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -20 AND STREET SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -21 AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WHEREAS, a petition has been presented to the City Council requesting Water Main Improvement Project No. 1969 -20 and Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -21, and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to initiate Water Main Improvement Project No. 1969 -20 and Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -21. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to direct the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for said Water Main Improvement Project No. 1969 -20 and Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -21, described as follows: 1969 -20 Water Main Aldrich Avenue North from 59th Avenue to 62nd Avenue; Bryant Avenue North from 62nd Avenue to No. Lilac Drive; 62nd Avenue North from Aldrich Avenue to Bryant Avenue; and No. Lilac Drive from Bryant Avenue to Colfax Avenue. 103 1969 -21 Street Surfacing Aldrich Avenue North from 59th Avenue to 62nd Avenue; 60th Avenue North from Aldrich Avenue to approximately 135 feet west of Aldrich Avenue; 61st Avenue North from approximately 135 feet west of Aldrich Avenue to approx- imately 135 feet east of Aldrich Avenue; 62nd Avenue North from approximately 135 feet west of Bryant Avenue to approx- imately 135 feet east of Aldrich Avenue; Bryant Avenue No.from 62nd Avenue to No. Lilac Drive; and No. Lilac Drive from Colfax Avenue to Bryant Avenue. November 25, 1968 Date The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
