resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 68 -276
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
NO. 1969 -53, SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO.
1969 -54, STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -55,
STREET GRADING, BASE 6 SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO.
1969 -56, AND CURB 6 GUTTER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -57,
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
WHEREAS, a petition has been presented to the City Council
requesting Water Main Improvement Project No. 1969 -53, Sanitary
Sewer Improvement Project No. 1969 -54, Storm Sewer Improvement
Project No. 1969 -55, Street Grading, Base 6 Surfacing Improvement
Project No. 1969 -56, and Curb C Gutter Improvement Project No.
1969 -57, and

WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to initiate said
improvement projects as listed above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center to direct the City Engineer to prepare plans and
specifications for said improvement projects, described as follows:
1969 -53 Water Main
Shingle Creek Parkway from County Road 130 to Xerxes Avenue
North; and Xerxes Avenue North from Shingle Creek Parkway
to I.H. 94.
1969 -54 Sanitary Sewer
Shingle Creek Parkway from County Road 130 to Xerxes Avenue
North; and Xerxes Avenue North from Shingle Creek Parkway
to I.H. 94.
1969 -55 Storm Sewer
Shingle Creek Parkway from County Road 130 to Xerxes Avenue
North; and Xerxes Avenue North from Shingle Creek Parkway
to I.H. 94.
1969 -56 Street Grading, Base 6 Surfacing (State Aid Project)
Shingle Creek Parkway from County Road 130 to Xerxes Avenue
North; and Xerxes Avenue North from Shingle Creek Parkway
to I.H. 94.
1969 -57 Curb 6 Gutter (State Aid Project)

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, jo Leary,
Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
