HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-277 CCR1 1 1 Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 68 -277 RESOLUTION COMMENDING METROPOLITAN TRANSIT COMMISSIONER BRUCE NAWROCKI WHEREAS, Commissioner Bruce Nawrocki of the Metropolitan Transit Commission has been instrumental in assisting Brooklyn Center to acquire expanded, and improved bus service; and WHEREAS, Commissioner Nawrocki's contributions to this effort were greater than reasonably might be expected from a member of the Metropolitan Transit Commission; and WHEREAS, besides the immediate improvement in bus service in Brooklyn Center, his contribuitions might possibly lead to further expansion and improvement of bus service in the north suburban area; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota to express sincere appreciation to Commissioner Bruce Nawrocki for his efforts in behalf of Brooklyn Center and the north suburban area. November 25, 1968 ATTEST: Date The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said, resolution was declared, duly passed and, adopted. 237
