moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO, 68 -294
RESOLUTION SETTING WAGES AND SALARIES FOR THE YEAR 1969
WHEREAS, Section 2.07 of the City Charter for the City of Brooklyn
Center does state that the City Council is to fix the salary or wages of all
officers and employees of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered salaries and wages for
the year 1969:
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council adopts the following
schedule fixing salaries and wages for the year 1969:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be authorized to employ
such part -time and seasonal help as may be necessary, and to establish competitive
rates of pay for such help consistent with the 1969 budget appropriations: and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the salary schedules c•ntained herein become
effective January 1, 1969.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Theodore Willard,and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg and Theodore
Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
