and moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, the City Clerk and the City Engineer have
reported that on April 1, 1968, at 10:00 o'clock A.M., central
standard time, they opened and tabulated bids received for Water
Main Improvement Projects No. 1968 -19 26, Sanitary Sewer Improve-
ment Projects No. 1968 -20 27, Storm Sewer Improvement Projects
No. 1967 -41, 44 47 and 1968 -21, and Public Utilities Extensions
Improvement Projects No. 1967 -42 45, and that said bids were as
follows:

Nodland Associates, Inc. $81,790.50
Bianconi Construction Company $88,264.75
C. S. McCrossan, Inc. $105,968.65
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Erwin Mont-
gomery Construction Company in the amount of $66,366.47, as to
furnishing of all work, labor and material in connection with
Water Main Improvement Projects No. 1968 -19 26, Sanitary Sewer
Improvement Projects No. 1968 -20 27, Storm Sewer Improvement
Projects No. 1967 -41, 44 47 and 1968 -21, and Public Utilities
Extensions Improvement Projects No. 1967 -42 45, according to
the plans and specifications therefor now on file in the office
of the City Clerk, is deemed to be the lowest and best bid sub-
mitted for said work by a responsible bidder, and said bid is
hereby accepted.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Earl Rydberg and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
