The Clerk produced. an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on April 4, 1968, which affidavit was examined and found satisfactory and ordered. placed on file. The Mayor then called, upon all property owners present to pre- sent arguments either for or against the proposed. improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined, that it is necessary and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property specially benefitted, thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed: ATTEST: Project No. 1968 -31 Water main in Humboldt Avenue North and. Girard Avenue North from 60th Avenue to North Lilac Drive; Fremont Avenue North and. Emerson Avenue North from 59th Avenue to 62nd. Avenue; 60th Avenue North from Humboldt Avenue to Fremont Avenue; 62nd. Avenue North from Fremont Avenue to Dupont Avenue; and. North Lilac Drive from Humboldt Avenue to Dupont Avenue. Date RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1968 -31 The estimated cost is $68,979.00. April 8, 1968 RESOLUTION NO. 68 -82 Clerk 1 1 Resolution No. 68 -82 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Rydberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted, in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and, the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and. adopted.
