The Clerk produced. an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on April 4, 1968, which affidavit was examined. and found. satisfactory and ordered placed. on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed. improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: ATTEST: RESOLUTION NO. 68 -83 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF STREET SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1968 -32 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and, for the best interests of the City and, the owners of property specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed: Project No. 1968 -32 Street surfacing on Humboldt Avenue North and Girard Avenue North from 60th Avenue to North Lilac Drive; Fremont Avenue North and Emerson Avenue North from 59th Avenue to 62nd. Avenue; 60th Avenue North from Humboldt Avenue to Dupont Avenue; 61st Avenue North and 62nd. Avenue North from Fremont Avenue to Dupont Avenue; and. North Lilac Drive from Humboldt Avenue to Dupont Avenue. The estimated, cost is $55,604.00 April 8, 1968 Date 1 Resolution No. 68 -83 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and. adopted.
