HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-087 CCR1 1 Member Earl Rydberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 68 -87 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT WITH TRINITY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH WHEREAS, the Session of the Trinity Presbyterian Church, 6120 Xerxes Avenue North, has offered certain of its church facilities to the City of Brooklyn Center for use as a Teen Recreation Center under the auspices of the Brooklyn Center Park and Recreation Department; and WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center Director of Parks and Recreation has recommended that the City accept the offer of the Trinity Presbyterian Church; and WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared a proposed agreement between the Trinity Presbyterian Church and the City of Brooklyn Center: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, to authorize the Mayor and City Manager to execute the agreement between the Trinity Presbyterian Church and the City of Brooklyn Center pertaining to the establishment of a Teen Recreation Center within the Trinity Presbyterian Church. ATTEST: April 8, 1968 Date Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
