Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have reported that on
April 8, 1968 at 10 :00 A. M. they opened and tabulated bids received
for the furnishing of plant -mixed bituminous material and said bids were
as follows:

Alexander Construction 4.65
Bury Carlson, Inc. 5.25
C.S. McCrossan, Inc. 4.35
Dunkley Surfacing, Inc. 5.20
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of C.S. McCrossan for the fur-
nishing of Plant -Mixed Bituminous Material in accordance with the specifica-
tions is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said
bid is hereby accepted.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Theodore Willard,and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted
in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and
Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
