RESOLUTION NO, 68 -97
RESOLUTION AMENDING AD VALOREM TAX LEVY SCHEDULE FOR
$9,500.00 EQUIPMENT CERTIFICATE OF INDEBTEDNESS AS CON-
TAINED IN RESOLUTION NO. 67 -245
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 67 -245, July 24, 1967, the City Council
authorized the issuance of equipment certificate of indebtedness in the amount
of $9,500.00; and
WHEREAS, said resolution levied a direct ad valorem tax which was
to be spread upon the tax rolls and collected with other general taxes of the
City; and
WHEREAS, the first year of levy was to be 1967, collectible in 1968; and
WHEREAS, a copy of the resolution was delivered to the County Auditor
on July 25, 1967, and the County Auditor's certificate as to tax levy and reg-
istration was obtained; and
WHEREAS, the County Auditor inadvertently deleted the first year levy:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center, that the ad valorem tax levy schedule included as part
of Resolution No. 67 -245 be amended to read as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to file with the County Auditor of Hennepin County, a certified copy
of this resolution and to obtain a certificate that such taxies been ley' -d

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Earl Rydberg, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, and Theodore
Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
