HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-111 CCR1 1 Member Earl Rydberg moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION NO. 68 -111 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS ON PROPOSED STREET GRADING, BASE SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1968 -10 AND CURB GUTTER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1968 -11 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed improve- ments consisting of the following: 1968 -10 Street grading, base and surfacing on 65th and 66th Avenues North from Dupont Avenue to T. H. 169 (Lyndale Avenue). 1968 -11 Curb and gutter on 65th and 66th Avenues North from Dupont Avenue to T. H. 169 (Lyndale Avenue). WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report ad- vising that said proposed improvements are feasible and that they can be constructed at estimated costs of $41,803.00 and $11,776.00, respectively. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes. 2. Public hearings on the proposed improvements shall be held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 3rd day of June, 1968, at 8:00 o'clock and 8:05 o'clock P.M., central daylight time, respectively, and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements is as follows: ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED STREETS. 4. These proposed improvements shall be designated Street Grading, Base Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1968 -10 and Curb Gutter Improvement Project No. 1968 -11.
