HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-124 CCRThe Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the con- sideration of proposed Water Main Improvement Project No. 1968 -37. The Clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks' publica- tion thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on May 16, 1968, which affidavit was examined and found satisfactory and ordered placed on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO.68 -124 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is necessary and for the best interests of the City and the owners of property specially benefitted thereby, that the following improvement shall be constructed: ATTEST: RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1968 -37 Project No. 1968 -37 Water main in Camden Avenue North from 67th Avenue to 68th Avenue (extended); 68th Avenue North (extended) from Camden Avenue to 5th Street; 5th Street North from 68th Avenue (extended) to 67th Avenue; 67th Avenue North from Camden Avenue to Lyndale Avenue; and Lyndale Avenue North from 67th Avenue to approximately 350 feet south of 67th Avenue. The estimated cost is $25,103.00. May 20, 1968 Date ayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
