and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 68 -134
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTATIONS FOR RAZING THE
DILAPIDATED STRUCTURE AT 5536 BRYANT AVENUE NORTH
WHEREAS, on April 18, 1966, the (then) Village Council adopted
Resolution No. 66 -86 ordering the structure at 5536 Bryant Avenue North
to be razed and removed pursuant to Sections 463.15 through 463.26 of
the Minnesota Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the statutory provisions were followed in obtaining a
court judgement authorizing the razing of the dilapidated structure; and
WHEREAS, on May 6, 1968, the City Council authorized the City
Manager to seek quotations for razing the dilapidated structure at
5536 Bryant Avenue North; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that he has obtained quotations
as follows:
Veit and Company, Inc.
Truck Crane Service Company
L. A. Chie s Inc.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, to accept the quotation of Veit and Company,
Inc. for the razing and demolition of the dilapidated structure at 5536 Bryant
Avenue North.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all costs associated therewith be
levied as a special assessment against the property at 5536 Bryant Avenue
North. More specificially described as the north 75 feet of the south
150 feet lying west of the east 150 feet of Lot 41, G rcelon's Addition,
Hennepin County, Minnesota.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Howard Heck
and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
