HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-159 CCRMember Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 68 -159 RESOLUTION COMMENDING BROOKLYN CENTER JAYCEES WHEREAS, on July 22, 1968, the Brooklyn Center Jaycees presented the City with seven municipal identification signs which are to be installed on the major thoroughfares entering Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, said gift further expresses Brooklyn Center Jaycees' contribution of continuing and invaluable service to the community: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota to publicly thank the Brooklyn Center Jaycees for the seven community identification signs and to publicly commend the Brooklyn Center Jaycees for their continuing service to the community. July 22, 1968 Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted.
