HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-168 CCRMember EarlRydberg introduced the following resolution and, moved, its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 68 -168 ATTEST: RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed, with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Erwin Montgomery Construction Company has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accordance with said, contract: P.U. Extensions Improvement Project No. 1967 -45 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed, under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the origi- nal contract amount by $212.10 because of general overestimating of sod, replacement quantities. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satisfied on said contract on July 8, 1968, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said, improvement project was $2,740.40 2iimedLrOP 17 July 22, 1968 Date Clerk Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted, in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg and Theodore Willard; and the following voted, against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared, duly passed and adopted. 18.E
