HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-174 CCR1 1 1 The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the consider- ation of proposed Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 1968 -40. The clerk produced an affidavit of publication of notice of hearing on the proposed improvement showing two weeks publication thereof in the official newspaper, the last publication being on July 18, 1968, which affidavit was examined and found satisfactory and ordered placed on file. The Mayor then called upon all property owners present to present arguments either for or against the proposed improvement. After hearing and considering all objections, and the property owners appearing in favor of said improvement, member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 68 -174 RESOLUTION ORDERING CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1968 -40 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that it is hereby determined that it is neces- sary and for the best interests of the city and the owners of property specially benefited thereby, that the following improve- ment shall be constructed: July 22, 1968 Date Project No. 1968 -40 Sanitary sewer in Russell Avenue North from 380 feet south of 54th Avenue to 300 feet north of 54th Avenue; and 54th Avenue North from Russell to Queen Avenue. The estimated cost is $8,912.00. ATTEST: Clerk Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Rydberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. 159
