Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 68 -185
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO WRITE -OFF
UNCOLLECTIBLE CHECKS
WHEREAS, the City Manager has reported that the following checks
made payable to the City of Brooklyn Center Liquor Stores are uncollectible
because the payer's checking accounts upon which they were drawn have been
closed and that attempts to locate the payers have been unsuccessful:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center to authorize the City Manager to write -off of the City
records as uncollectible the following checks:

Robert Penman, dated 9 -17 -66
Conrad Peterson, dated 9 -22 -66
Daniel Wolmsly, dated 3 -16 -66
Charles D. Rogers, dated 12 -12 -66
Donald E. Carey, dated 12 -16 -66
Donald E. Carey, dated 12 -20 -66
Robert W. Lancette, dated 12 -29 -66
Jerry Chalfant, dated 8 -26 -66
Roy Robey, dated 7 -27 -66
Roy Robey, dated 7 -28 -66
Glen Peterson, dated 12 -5 -66

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Theodore Willard,: and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard
Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
