moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR ONE PANEL VAN TRUCK
WHEREAS, the County Purchasing Agent has reported that on January
23, 1968 at 2 :00 P.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for furnishing
of one (1) panel van truck, and that said bids were as follows:

$2,333.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center that the bid of Hopkins Motor Sales in the amount of $2,306.42
for the furnishing of one (1) panel van truck in accordance with the specifications
is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid
is hereby accepted.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard
Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
