HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-037 CCRMember Earl Rydberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 68 -37 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR ONE 3/4 TON PICKUP TRUCK WHEREAS, the County Purchasing Agent has reported that on January 23, 1968 at 2 :00 P. M. they opened and tabulated bids received for furnishing of one (1) 3/4 ton pickup truck, and that said bids were as follows: ATTEST: Market Ford $2,175.10 February 5, 1968 Iten Chevrolet $2,206.40 Bill Boyer Ford Inc. $2,250.10 McGee Trucks $2,352.54 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Market Ford in the amount of $2,175.10 for the furnishing of one (1) 3/4 ton pickup truck, including the automatic transmission option, in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
