HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-038 CCRMember Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 68 -38 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR ONE 27,500 GVW DUMP TRUCK WHEREAS, the County Purchasing Agent has reported that on January 23, 1968 at 2 :00 P. M. they opened and tabulated bids received for furnishing of one (1) 27,500 GVW dump truck, and that said bids were as follows: Market Ford Iten Chevrolet $6,576.90* $6,767.40 Do not meet specifications NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Iten Chevrolet in the amount of $6,767.40 for the furnishing of one (1) 27,500 GVW dump truck, including options of automatic transmission, 9 x 7 box and deduct option of 9.00 x 20 tires in place of 10.00 x 20 tires, in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. ATTEST: February 5, 1968 Date Bill Boyer Ford Inc. $6,638.00* McGee Trucks $6,956.69 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Rydberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
