and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 68 -38
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR ONE 27,500 GVW DUMP
TRUCK
WHEREAS, the County Purchasing Agent has reported that on January
23, 1968 at 2 :00 P. M. they opened and tabulated bids received for furnishing
of one (1) 27,500 GVW dump truck, and that said bids were as follows:
Market Ford Iten Chevrolet
$6,576.90* $6,767.40
Do not meet specifications
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center that the bid of Iten Chevrolet in the amount of $6,767.40
for the furnishing of one (1) 27,500 GVW dump truck, including options of
automatic transmission, 9 x 7 box and deduct option of 9.00 x 20 tires in
place of 10.00 x 20 tires, in accordance with the specifications is deemed
to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby
accepted.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Earl Rydberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg,
Howard Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
