HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-039 CCR1 Member John Leary and moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution ATTEST: RESOLUTION NO. 68 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1968 -29 AND STREET SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1968 -30 AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WHEREAS, petitions have been presented to the City Council requesting Water Main Improvement Project No. 1968 -29 and Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1968 -30, and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to initiate Water Main Improvement Project No. 1968 -29 and Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1968 -30. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to direct the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for said Water Main Improvement Project No. 1968 -29 and Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1968 -30, described as follows: 1968 -29 Water Main Aldrich Avenue North from 59th Avenue to approximately 332 feet south of centerline 58th Avenue; 58th Avenue North from centerline Aldrich Avenue to approximately 165 feet east; and parallel to and 332 feet south of 58th Avenue North from Aldrich Avenue to Bryant Avenue. 1968 -30 Street Surfacing Aldrich Avenue North from 59th Avenue to approximately 357 feet south of centerline 58th Avenue; 58th Avenue North from approximately 165 feet west of centerline Aldrich Avenue to approximately 165 feet east of centerline Aldrich Avenue. February 5, 1968 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
